How should it be placed, and does it need anchoring?

No anchoring — at this weight the mat holds its position. Set it on a clean, dry floor centered on where feet actually plant through the shift, and orient it so what drains through moves toward the floor drain rather than into the walk lane.

Lift it during floor cleaning so the concrete beneath dries fully, then set it back the same way each time.

Is the yellow border too industrial-looking for a bar or cafeteria guests can see?
